Gandhian ideology in our society

The greatness of Gandhiji is, he put a sense of self-confidence in the COMMON MAN to fight against any wrong with just two weapons - TRUTH and NON-VIOLENCE. He gave us the most valuable weapon of 'SATYAGRAHA' which is being misused today."


The role of Gandhian ideology in today's society has got varies dimensions  to think about ,two pillars of his ideology are non-violence and truth .His life itself was the message that he had to convey to the society, a life in search of truth. For the development of a nation like INDIA we just need to implement his visions one by one ,there is nothing new in it. Swach Bharath is one of the initiatives by out PM Narendra Modi based on Gandhian principles .The urge to clean our environment should come from within .It should not be done as a show for publicity but as a responsibility to ourselves. We cannot find a single person throwing garbage on road side or urinating near road outside INDIA ,even Indians living outside the country cannot do such a thing as its deemed as a crime and would be punished immediately. Enforcing strict punishments and spreading awareness to the public are the only way out for the issue. Gandhiji inspired everyone to speak truth and live on the path of non-violence. Only patience will get rewarded with time. Gandhiji's non-violent strikes to the British rule gathered popularity as a fight for justice and lead the path for independence of our country. Popular support was the base for his strikes thereby British officials were forced to agree upon our demands. His non-violent strategies has got many critics even from those times .He is regarded as the father of the nation for this selfless activities. Today's youth need to get right guidance and right knowledge about such ideologies for their own development. Gandhiji's teachings were based on Indian philosophies. Gandhiji's clothing and way of stitching his own cloths should spread the message of self sufficiency in our action .

Often its said that we cannot use such non-violence strategies for fights between countries .According to INDIA Pakistan has many a times provoked us to take weapons with its border shelling and firing conflict without our provocation. They are even said as the known hideouts for terrorists . In such a situation if we keep on the track of non-violence it wont help us. They cannot understand our ideologies and sacrifices ,when all the negotiations for peace are put-up we are bound to take weapons as well because our silence will be deemed weakness by the Pakistan authority. This is similar to the reason why load Krishna ignites Arjuna to fight the war of Mahabharata. This says that ideologies should be changed with time and situation. I don't mean to provoke a war between our neighbor country Pakistan ,but the situation is to be highlighted  .This doesn't go away from Gandhian ideology. As Gandhian ideology is based on Bhagavat gita and the later text says Arjuna to fight the war , we can see that the ideology was base on an extreme way. People were fed up with British rule and as everyone supported for having independence non-violent strikes would make results. In a situation were 1 crore people prefer a substance A and an another 1 crore prefer B we cannot have a majority ,if the B side is unrighteous and a result of mere misunderstanding ,we could do our best to correct them ,but if they are not changing even after knowing they are unrighteous we have the right to fight. This is called Gandhian ideology and that does't make it weak

                               We are in noway against being an animal lover . All creations of god should always  co-exist with we the human community. Especially in a country like India where all religions exist as unity in diversity we should take care of all the animals as a matter of their right to live on earth peacefully without harming each other and anything else. When a person has done an illegal or criminal activity he is eligible to get punished .A mad person who create harm to other people is eligible to be put in chain at any mental hospital.
